Meet the Director

Our Camp Director - Ms. Curry is a passionate and dedicated educator with 25 years of experience in the field of education. Her experiences is both with special education and elementary education, she brings a deep understanding of diverse learner needs and a commitment to helping all students thrive.

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Special Education and a Master of Science in Curriculum and Instruction, equipping her with both the heart and the expertise to lead with excellence. Her teaching philosophy centers on social-emotional learning (SEL), the use of data-driven instruction, and personalized support to ensure student success.

Throughout her career, she has been recognized for her strong leadership, innovative teaching practices, and commitment to equity in education. Her classroom has often been described as a place where students feel safe, challenged, and motivated to do their best. She has also led professional development workshops, mentored new teachers, and participated in curriculum development initiatives at both school and district levels.

Her vision for the camp is to create a joyful, enriching environment where each camper feels seen, supported, and inspired to grow—academically, socially, and emotionally.
