All families will receive a Parent Handbook at the start of camp. This handbook includes important information about our policies and expectations.
We kindly ask that families review the handbook and sign off on the following policies no later than June 24th:
A completed contact form must be on file for each camper. This form helps us support their personal care and provides important medical information to ensure their safety and well-being throughout their camp experience. The contact form can be found under the Enrollment and Fees tab.
Your cooperation helps us ensure a smooth, safe, and positive experience for all campers.
Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) is the process through which children develop the skills to understand and manage their emotions, build positive relationships, make responsible decisions, and handle challenges in healthy ways.
At camp, we believe SEL is just as important as academics. By helping campers learn how to recognize their feelings, show empathy, communicate effectively, and work well with others, we’re supporting their growth both individually and as part of a community.
Focusing on SEL during camp helps each child:
By weaving SEL into daily activities, we create a space where campers can thrive emotionally, socially, and academically—setting them up for success in and beyond the summer.
No-Nonsense Nurturing is a structured, caring approach to behavior management that helps students succeed by combining high expectations with consistent, supportive guidance. It is used to provide clear directions, calm redirection, and positive reinforcement, all while maintaining a warm, respectful tone. During summer camp, this approach helps create a safe, focused environment where campers know what is expected and feel encouraged to meet those expectations. The benefits include improved self-regulation, stronger listening and cooperation skills, and a more positive learning atmosphere. For young campers, No-Nonsense Nurturing builds trust and accountability—allowing them to thrive academically and socially during their time at camp.
To ensure a safe and smooth arrival and dismissal each day, we ask that families follow these guidelines:
